We set out to find the matcha we couldn't find at home. Then we went to the source.
It started with a better cup
Too much coffee. Too many crashes. Then Maria discovered matcha: calm, steady energy and a taste she couldn't forget. She shared it with Gerardo, and it became our obsession.
Nothing like it at home
Back in Mexico, all we found were sweetened mixes that tasted nothing like Japan. So in 2017, we decided to bring the real thing ourselves.

We travel to Japan, walk the fields and work directly with award-winning producers — no intermediaries. Many have been our partners since day one.
If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't carry our name.
Today, across borders
Cafés and matcha lovers in Mexico and the United States now make Kokoro part of their day. The mission hasn't changed: exceptional matcha, consistent cup after cup.
