Ume Musubi Chasen

Inspired by the ume musubi, the traditional Japanese plum blossom knot, this bamboo matcha whisk is finished with a red and white cord and a delicate plum blossom charm.

In Japan, the plum blossom (ume) is the first flower to bloom at the end of winter, a symbol of hope, resilience and new beginnings. Red and white together are the colors of celebration and good fortune, making this whisk a meaningful gift.

Made from light-colored bamboo, it is ideal for both usucha (thin matcha) and koicha (thick matcha). Packaged in a KOKORO cardboard tube.

We recommend blooming your whisk in warm water before every use, and letting it air dry, ideally on a whisk stand.
