KOKORO Tea Canister — Handmade in Tokyo

Our new tea canister is made by a small family workshop in Tokyo that has been shaping tins by hand since 1895, now in its fourth generation. Every piece is cut, formed and finished by hand, then dipped in paint one by one. It is a quiet object with the depth of real craft, worlds away from a mass-printed tin.

Inside, a double lid does the real work. The inner and outer lids are measured with 0.1 mm precision, leaving almost no gap between lid and body. Air, light and humidity stay out, so your matcha keeps its vivid green color, aroma and flavor for longer.

Made to be refilled, not replaced. Keep it on your counter or on your café’s bar, and your matcha will always be fresh and ready to whisk.
